TexturesForHome began with a simple observation about homes, that is, every home tells a story. Be it a worn edge of a wooden table, or a woven blanket, or a ceramic cup soaking the morning’s first rays. These rooms are spaces with layers, where, when life starts to feel rough, they feel like a warm hug.
We started sharing these observations, and what coordinates well with every story that a room is intrigued to tell. As time passed, this grew into a weekly ritual for people who want their homes to feel as good as they want them to be.
Today, we gather decor ideas, curated how-to blogs, and designer finds that help you build your space according to your budget, square footage, etc.
Our Motto
Have you ever walked into a room and everything just felt too right? Well, that is because every aspect in that room basically is in harmony. The accents, the color, the floor, and everything else do not fight, but complement each other. Everything invites you to just sit and relax for a while.

How We Think Of Home
TexturesForHome does not think of home as something that has to be finished in order to look right. Most of the rooms that are loved by their homeowners are still on the verge of becoming something. Which is why they can be a little imperfect and shaped by whoever lives there and whatever season of life they are in. Now, for the “textures”, the word that is quite literally in our name. We think of textures as something that is honest. Wood showing its patterns, or linen showing its pattern.
There is something humbling in that, which reminds us that a home is not a showroom but rather a place where life’s most ordinary things keep happening.
We also think of a “house” as something that becomes home through the people. The friend who stayed over for the night, or the kid who leaves fingerprints on the window.
That’s the whole idea we abide by. Not a perfect home, but an honest one.
